Wigan Warriors have released 21-year-old hooker Josh Ganson from the last season of his three-year contract.
Ganson, son of referees chief Steve Ganson, was handed his Wigan debut in 2017 but made only three substitute appearances last term.
The former Wigan and England academy captain has begun a four-week trial with Betfred Championship club Widnes Vikings.
