Clair is currently the Associate Director of Operations for the Greater Manchester Mental Health Trust. She is an experienced, Professional Doctorate educated, senior nurse and manager with effective leadership skills and a proven track record of achievement and change in a wide variety of settings and services. Clair’s Doctorate study was on the Service User perspective of utilising a Street Triage Service in Greater Manchester. Passionate about the service user voice in mental health service, Clair’s study enables the voice of this vulnerable group to have a platform and to inform future models of crisis care in mental health.

Clair is proud to be a Trustee of the Mental Health and Rugby league charity ‘State of Mind’ which was set up to tackle the stigma in male suicide. A mother of two teenage girls, both of whom play rugby at both a county and England academy level, Clair is an avid, season ticket holding, follower of the Wigan Warriors and her passion for mental health and rugby league enables her role as Trustee for State of Mind to offer maximum impact.
