World Mental Health Day 2019: focus on suicide prevention

World Mental Health Day takes place on Thursday 10 October and this year the focus is on suicide prevention.

Suicidal feelings can affect anyone, anywhere, regardless of age, gender or background. Research suggests that 1 in 5 of us has thought about suicide at some point in our lives. We want to dedicate the day to remind you that ‘suicide is preventable’ and that there is hope.
