Widnes Masters Rugby League have supported STATE OF MIND SPORT again in 2027 with our logo on their shirts. The latest away kit is pictured above sporting our logo on the front as the new kit is launched today.
Mental fitness is important for rugby players past and present and an indication of the impact being part of this Masters team can be seen from this quote below
Rugby league has been a massive part of my life, and after retiring, I struggled to find that same purpose again. Widnes Masters has given me more than just the chance to play rugby again. It’s given me a family, friendships and a place where I can be myself, have a laugh and forget about life’s pressures. The lads are there for each other on and off the pitch. When my wife was due our baby, they turned up to help me get the bedroom ready.
That tells you everything about the people they are. For me, Widnes Masters is more than rugby. It’s belonging, friendship and looking after each other. That’s what State of Mind is all about. Shaun Ainscough (former Widnes, Wigan, Castleford, Bradford, Whitehaven, Batley and Richdale player)
A massive thanks to Gary Hughes who set up the Masters with support from Tim Holmes at Widnes Vikings
