On June 13th a group of 10 people from Axis Communications will attempt to complete an endurance challenge, commonly known as The National Three Peaks Challenge, in an attempt to raise money for three fantastic charities that are close to our hearts.
So what does it entail?
This involves scaling the three highest peaks in England, Scotland and Wales – Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdonia in under 24 hours. To put this into perspective, it involves walking over 23 miles (37km), with a total ascent of 3064 metres (10,052ft) and a driving distance of 462 miles (743 km). Now driving this distance on UK roads in under 24hrs may seem like a challenge all by itself, but we’ll attempt to complete the walk as well!
Of course any donations, both corporately and personally, are greatly appreciated by everyone involved and the charities themselves but it would be equally fantastic if you could share with contacts and through your social media channels, to hopefully help raise awareness of the work these fantastic organisations do.
